Poetry's vocabulary

Imagery: It's a images of things or events
The pitter-patter of the rain against the window.
I used imagery to describe or express the emotions and show a feeling to people through images.

Stanza: Number of lines in a poems
I love to write
Day and night
What would my heart do
But cry, sigh and be blue
If I could not write
We used stanza to let people know when the lines of poem end, and show the meaning of a poem lines.

Metaphor:figure of speech is used to refer to something that it does not literally
A mighty fortress is our god
I used metaphor to make a poem more reliable and interesting.

Extended Metaphor:A comparison between two unlike things that continues lines in a poem.And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
To compare 2 differents part in a poem to let the reader know it.

Simile:figure of speech that expresses and compare between 2 things in a poem
She is like a rose
Compare two things humans with a objects to shoe that, how did they look like to a object.Comparison between that

Interpretation: An explanation of something.
The theater created plays based on their interpretation of the famous ones
To act or to explain to people what you try to say
